What is RCCS?

RCCS means the Real-Time Online Condenser Cleaning & Enhanced Heat Transfer System.

RCCS consists of spiral twisted tape, ceramic bearings and special steel supports. RCCS is installed in the condenser heat exchange tube, without additional power, driven by the flow velocity of circulating water itself. It rotates rapidly at the speed of 300-1800 RPM to achieve enhanced heat transfer and online fouling cleaning, and it can effectively increase the condenser heat transfer coefficient K value by more than 20%. There are more than 2500 power units have using this technology and have been installed RCCS®, it is one of CIMS®'s core subsystems that monitor RCCS® RPM and condenser cleanliness in real time.
